Ladies - if you missed the April Sew Fun after guild you missed some fun! We had a good time making the foundation blocks with no paper tearing! Several people got theirs done and they were beautiful. The technique gives absolutely perfect points and is sooooo eeeeeasy!
The May Sew Fun meeting will be a "bring your questions and problems to us and we will see if we can solve your issue." Also, if you have found a wonderful new tool, or a beautiful pattern, a wonderful website, or just want to share something like an idea for organizing or a technique you just learned, bring it and lets help others.
There are a lot of people who just do piecework and a lot who only appliqué - but they might like to do something new if they had someone to teach them. Maybe YOU have just that little bit of information that will get them on the road to a new adventure in quilting.
Bring a funny story about yourself or another that involves quilting. Do have an idea for a quilt but don't know how or where to start it? Maybe someone there will be able to help you along with the next step. The idea is to help others and share your love of quilting!
We WILL be having lunch delivered at the May meeting! Or bring your lunch and put it in the refrigerator in the kitchen. It is huge and will hold lots of stuff.
I will also have a SURPRISE for you! It is my secret but I want to share with you something I have that is really helpful in my creative efforts. Be prepared to OOH and AHHH cause you will see how color effects quilts!!!!! Call me for questions.
