CPQ Philanthropy

Cotton Patch Quilters are like quilters everywhere. We just can’t make enough quilts to donate to a worthy cause. Currently, our guild is involved in three different philanthropic endeavors.

  • Loving Hands and Clubhouse Quilters
  • Painted Turtle Camp at Lake Hughes, CA.
  • Home of the Brave

Loving Hands Print E-mail

Thanks for all the quilts this month, my cupboard is filling up again. That doesn't mean that more aren't needed. Please be sure that all quilts have labels, the last few months I had about 10 or 12 turned in with out labels and that means I must take time to sew them on for you. The chair-people will always have extra labels at the meetings or you may call me and I will send them to you.

Easter is the fourth of April and it would be nice to see some Easter quilts come in during the March meeting. There will be a small gift for each member turning in an Easter quilt. I hope you are enjoying the new labels as much as I am.

We will have packets at each meeting for the next few month, come and pick them up. There are still some out from way back , please if you don't plan to use them bring them back. Thank you
